Please Note:  At this time, ONLY virtual sessions are being offered.


Weekly Sessions:

  1. Depending on the day of the week, daytime and evening appointments may be available.
  2. Only weekly appointments are being scheduled at this time; every-other-week appointments are not currently available.
  3. Your appointment duration (after your first session) is 45-60 minutes. Your insurance Company and your specific policy guidelines define the actual duration.


First Session:


  1. The duration of our first appointment (called an Intake Session) is 60-70 minutes.
  2. This session involves addressing any questions about the Intake paperwork
  3. Intake paperwork will be emailed to you once we decide on your weekly appointment day and time.
  4. The Intake documents that you will complete are essential for obtaining the required information as per Counseling Ethics Guidelines and your Insurance Company.
  5. Once you submit your completed Intake paperwork, we will schedule your Intake session.


Virtual Sessions:
  1. A user-friendly Virtual Platform is employed.
  2. It is accessible on any device with internet access.
  3. After completing your intake paperwork, you will receive a link to access all sessions with me.
  4. Privacy of space and your ability to freely talk without hesitation or chance of being overheard (on your end) are imperative requirements of virtual counseling sessions.


Insurance Plans Currently Accepted:

  • Capital Blue Cross
  • Highmark Blue Shield
  • Optum
  • Aetna


Fees And Payment:

  1. Session rates follow an established fee schedule discussed before your Intake session.
  2. Payments are collected online via a weekly invoice through Square Payment Processing Service.
  3. Accepted methods include Visa, MasterCard, Debit Cards, and Health Savings Accounts.
  4. Payment is due before each session.


Insurance Not Listed Above?  I
f your insurance isn't listed, you may have "Out-of-Network Provider Benefits." Check with your insurance representative (Customer Service number on the back of your card) about potential reimbursement directly to you for counseling fees. Relevant questions to ask during this discussion include (but are not limited to)::
  1. What are my Mental Health Benefits for an out-of-network provider?
  2. Do I need a referral from my Primary Care Provider?
  3. Is there an overall deductible? If so, how much is satisfied?
  4. Do I have a not reimbursable co-payment for each session?
  5. Are there limitations on the number of counseling sessions I may attend per year?
  6. Are there treatment or diagnosis exclusions in my policy?
  7. What information is required on counseling receipts for my submission?
  8. Where do I send these receipts?
